a nuclear plant in Malaysia??????

We've been hearing about nuclear radiation for the past days since the explosion of one of the nuclear plant in Fukushima and rumors has been spreading around about the effect, danger and risk.Panic around the world has led to people staying at home, stock market went down steeply and prices of basic necessities also increases especially in Japan when demand of that basic things are high. We,in Malaysia are still lucky of having the pleasure to eat anything we want, stepping into a supermarket without having to worry anything whereby people of Japan are staying in cold and hunger.

I've been following Japan's development since it happened on Friday and honestly said I'm moved and feel guilty for not able to do anything except watching. Imagine if it were to happen in Malaysia? And the government planned to built a nuclear power plant in Malaysia. Handling a nuclear plant is not the same as handling the Tenaga Nasional power plant. Do you know how strict are the rules and regulation when it comes to handling a nuclear plant. If there are 10 precaution steps of handling that kind of plant, you will and need to follow all 10 steps. Malaysian does not have the discipline in that matter, so why waste time to built one. They always find a shorter way in carrying out the task. The shortest possible way is the best. Instead focus on boosting the country's economy and political situation. This is truly a waste of the people's tax payment. Malaysia will never learn their lesson. Having the thought or even the idea of building a nuclear power plant is bloody ridiculous. We have surplus of energy resources. So I don't understand why do we need one?? Is the government out of their mind. God Gracious... Or Malaysia just wants to compete with other country. Take for example the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Why do we need another airport when we can just upgrade the Subang airport.See what I mean. And why do we need the KL Tower?..

quote of the day

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.
Oscar Wilde
