life ain't good or is it you??

Life Quotes

Ever know someone that always complain about EVERYTHING?? You feel like shoving a cockscrew into her big mouth so that she'll shut up?? I do..I don't put it as complain but rather unsatisfied with life..We'll just name her *Jenny okay for privacy issue:-)

Well, Jenny and I met a few months ago and we get along very well I can say. But lately, it feels annoying to be around her. There's always some thing that she'll complain about. Well, one thing I learnt about life is NEVER EVER,EVER,EVER compare yours with others as you don't know the pain that the other person has to go through in order to get what she/he wants in life.. Everybody's got their own sets of story and no one's story is the same..If you start to compare, you'll only create your own best friend called MISERABLE and forever you will regret.

People like Jenny should visit places like China rural area, India, Sri Lanka or any other 3rd world country and when Jenny sees all these, hopefully she knock a sense of grateful and realize that her life is wonderful after all as well as thankful that she doesn't have to go through hardship like these people.

I do complain about certain things in my life sometimes especially after a bad day at work. But I calm myself down and think about all the good things in life I have. I've travelled almost half of the globe so I should know how my life is compare to those. Like I said, everyone has their own sets of stories. That's what differentiate we, humans...Or unique, so they called it...

Life is easy but we, as human created the complication and in the end, we assumed life is complicated...Life don't circle just around you only Ms.Jenny. It is more than that. Look at the bright side of life instead of being in the dark all the time. And believe that there's always sunshine after the rain..Nothing is easy, you've gotta work hard for it...And things don't just come rolling towards you. If everything is easy, then life will be boring...

we were soldiers

Since Astro doesn't have any movies that I like, I decided to watch DVDs that I bought previously. This is one of the movie that I haven't watch yet. It is a good movie. But I don't think most ladies will like it as it is more to a boyish type...:-)

We Were Soldiers is a 2002 American war film that dramatized the Battle of Ia Drang on November 14, 1965 — the first major engagement of the United States Army in the Vietnam War. The film was directed by Randall Wallace and stars Mel Gibson. It is based on the book We Were Soldiers Once… And Young by Lieutenant General (Ret.) Hal Moore and reporter Joseph L. Galloway, both of whom were at the battle.

"We are moving into the Valley of the Shadow of Death where you will watch the back of the man next to you, as he will watch yours, and you won't care what color he is, or by what name he calls God. We are going into battle against a tough and determined enemy. I can't promise you that I will bring you all home alive. But this I swear. .. when we go into battle, I will be the first to step on the field and I will be the last to step off. And I will leave no one behind. .. dead or alive. We will all come home together. "
With these words, on the day before he was to lead his men off to war, Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore addressed his soldiers and their families. Before him were young men, still innocent to war, and older men already bearing the scars and decorations of battle. And sitting among them listening to her husband's words, was Moore's own wife, Julie, who had seen him up late at night studying history books about various massacres, strategizing a better outcome for his men, the First Battalion of the Seventh Calvary. .. the same regiment as General George Armstrong Custer. On Sunday, November 14, 1965 at 10:48 a. m. , Lt. Col. Hal Moore and his young troopers touched down at Landing Zone X-Ray in the Ia Drang (pronounced: Eye Drang) Valley, a place in Vietnam known as "The Valley of Death. " A man of his word, Lt. Col. Moore set foot on the field of battle first only to find himself and approximately 400 of his men surrounded by roughly 2000 North Vietnamese soldiers. The ensuing battle was one of the most savage in U. S. history, and the first major encounter between the soldiers of North Vietnam and America. "We Were Soldiers" is a tribute to the nobility and uncommon valor of those men under fire. It honors their loyalty to their country and to each other, and it brings to light the heroism and unimaginable sacrifice of men and women both home and abroad.
