Good Friday, wedding gown and I stapled my fingers..Gosh!!!
Hhmm..A friend of mine(Ryan) is getting married in this short period of time...At last...OMG.. I feel happy for him.He must be a great bf and a husband-material type and best of all, he's a great friend..We used to laugh and chat as we worked in the same company previously...He and his soon-wife-to-be looked so match made in heaven...I was wondering, when is it gonna be my turn.OK ok I know...I said in the previous post that I'm not thinking about getting married as I have many other s things to do...Well, looking at the pretty wedding gown, 3 tier wedding cake, cute little wedding invitation card, make me feel...wow, so beautiful...But then again, marriage is not just pretty things. It's about commitment of life between you and your soon-to-be husband/wife. It need patience, tolerance, loyalty, faith and etc...My friends used to tease me 'Ei Yong, I bet that you'll be the first one to walk down the aisle'...Well, she's the one who got married first...Now with 3 kids...

you raised and you supported through pain and suffering
Will I be pretty, Will I be rich,
This what she said to me,
Que sera sera,
Whatever will be, will be,
The future's not us to see,
Que sera sera
Remember that song. A song which most of your mum would sing to you before bed or your kindy teacher will play it through cassette in school (in my years, cassette is something which makes people go, "wah, she got cassette ar")... Anyway, close that kindy story (I'm a nerd in kindy)..I grew up in a less-moderate lifestyle..At that time, my dad only owns an old Yamaha C60 bike ( I think so) and that's is the only mean of transport that we have until he bought a Ford Laser(more than 10 years and still is apart of the family) from my uncle. He bought it through hard-earned money way back when he was working in Kota Bahru, Kelantan. Even before he got married with mummy..Before he worked in Kota Bahru, he used to work for a optical factory in Singapore (that's where he met mummy through a friend)...Sound soooo sweet. They dated around 10 years(that's what mummy told me) then they got married in 1983 and mummy gave up everything including her career and family just to be with him despite his disabilities. Her friends and family members even asked her to rethink on the consequences. They're afraid that daddy could not provide everything that she need but she put those things a side.
Then, daddy got a job in Kota Bahru(that's where my origin comes from, sad isn't it)..Mummy stayed in Singapore until daddy got us a rented house( we still keep in touch with the landlord until today and we visited them last Chinese New Year as I insisted to). they were very nice. But the rented house that daddy got is not like what you imagined...It was a two floor kampung house. At first we rented the ground floor (it was so small, it can only fit a single bed and a tv). At that time, we didn't have a TV. TV was considered as a luxury item at that time. Mummy couldn't get used to that kind of lifestyle as she was quite well brought up. I was born in year 1984, a few months after I was born, that was the hardest time as daddy got retrenched (only chinese were retrenced as racism was normal at that point of time)..We had no money to even buy milk for me and mummy would have to lend money/milk powder from the neighbour. Luckily, they were kind enough to help us. I was the only child and luckily.. Daddy was out of job for about 6 months until a big-offer came 'knocking' at the door. His previous boss (the company which retrenched him) called and asked whether he's interested to work in a diamond company but the catch is , he would have to based in overseas ( means that he would have to be apart from the family)..Mummy agreed as we had no choice...Daddy started hard(as an under paid labor) but he never give up (for the sake of the family in Malaysia).. He worked hard thought out many years and got promoted as a supervisor...From there, recommendation came 'raining' down on him and numerous job offers just 'flew' into his lap. Then he was offered as a manager (also in diamond polishing) in Perlis (where we settled down)... So daddy brought the whole family to Perlis ( where I met my best friends, Alla). And that's when my sis was born (year 1994). She was born in Kedah actually. Daddy drove all the way to Kedah Medical Center as mummy insisted to have her labor over there...45 minutes of hell-ride...
Anyway, we rented a house at first. Then a chinese man asked my dad whether he's interested to buy his house (his house was well taken care of..lucky)..Properties were cheap at that time. Daddy agreed and used his 'years'of saving to pay for the down-payment. And paid the installment for only a few years. Then, the factory that daddy worked in, would have to shut down and everyone was retrenched. But daddy was one of the lucky ones as some of the diamond polishing companies in overseas offered him different position (but good money babe)...until today (now he's half retired,haha)...
The family used to being a way from him most of the time...But we managed to keep the bond closed with the help of today's tech (amazing isn't it)...The love between our family has never change, fade, lessen...It actually makes us even stronger.. To be honest, my dad has a disabilities. his leg are smaller on the left ( he got polio when he was small and my grandma did not know what is polio so my dad did not get any polio injection).. But I was never ashamed of that (except when I was small as I don't know what really happened to my dad, he said he got knock by a hockey stick..bad girl). Instead I'm very proud of him as he has done things beyond his capabilities and beyond what a normal person could actually do. Whether its physically or emotionally. He never gave up... I remembered when I was in Secondary 3, he beat me up because I ignored mumy's advise...It was the beaten of me life and that was the first time daddy ever got real pissed off..... Then I saw him crying to himself in the kitchen and he said sorry. From that moment
A 10 pages blog or a 300 pages book will never be able to describe how much pain our family had to go through, how much sufferings we have to feel, how much love and support our family has provide to each other...Nothing can compare a love of a father and a mother... They've given me the best of what they can afford...Daddy taught her childrn to be strong, prepare for the worst and be humble and kind...He said, sometimes, it is ok to cry. Men do cry but silently, they don't show. They are a species with high ego attitude. Daddy is a soft-spoken person while mummy is the nagging type but for our own good. Daddy has the patience to teach his children.. Basically we learnt all the good things from daddy and maybe some from mummy...Well, through my parent's effort, I'm now graduated from college and adik will be having her PMR this year. She's independent as daddy taught her that way as well...He said show good example to the younger one... And whatever happens, she's still you sister...And you can't deny that...
Daddy has always been the hero in the family while mummy is his sidekick. We learnt what is the real meaning of life basically from him. What we are today came his hard work to raise the family, to provide what's best for us and give the best of what he can. He conctantly remind us to be grateful of what we have. Never compare yourself with others. Instead try to compare yourself with those who are less fortunate...But now, travelling to overseas, having 'tonnes' of money to spent, is not something the family are striving to. We just want to spend the time that we never had for many years and put it into good use...Having lunch and dinner together, watching tv together, and other normal thing that a family do, is what we are aiming for... Daddy has never taught us to live luxuriously (we created on out own). He teaches his daughters and wife to live moderately...Never be a show-off of what you have...
My family are unique in a way where we go through ups and downs together....Whether daddy used to be poor, mummy and his children were there and will always be there...
It has been a memorable days for him

Republic of Singapore, there they go
Its Friday, people
What could possibly they have in Sabah. Well, at least its betetr than Perlis. I guess so.

I do need a break like this. A calm, cosy clear water scenery. Lazing on Sunday by the seaside with loved ones.Well, its gonna be just a dream. Sad...Anyway, I'm thinking of what to wear to my ex-college prom night. Even though I graduated last year October. Most probably I will not miss it. Of course I'll be going with my beloved Boyfriend and best friend, who else, Khang Wei. Hahaha. Both of them will make you laugh your ass off, I tell you. Maybe this year I'll be wearing a maxi dress. Not too sure...or maybe a dress??Gorgeous isn't it...

Hei peeps,
Laughing out loud
Not much story today as you can see, it's raining a few minutes ago. Took this picture in Level 3 at my office. Coincidently I was in Level 3 to check the condition of the cubes for restoration purpose. It used to be empty. Jessie's in PG12 for meetings and training. What meeting??I'm not sure. Intelians always have meetings. Craps...Boring...Random pictures taken from last week
seeing their faces is like having to swallow poison
I'm back in the office after 3 days of holiday. I feel so lazy. the Boyfriend is on leave. When I woke up this morning, I was thinking, why can't I be Billgate's kids. Not having to go to work or maybe I'll be working with him in his company. So that I don't have to deal with the lower rank employee like what I have to deal at the moment. Fussy and annoying. That is the only 2 words I can describe about them. No motivation at all to even open my eyes every morning. Boring job but I have no choice. I asked the boyfriend to post the customer's items just now. He did it. Wow...Audy called me regarding his insurance thing. I said I agreed. - To further expand my online business
- To have more savings
- To cut short on shopping( which sounds impossible, but I'll try)
- To be a better daughter, sister and girlfriend
- To go for my Masters'
- To get a better job that requires me to apply what I've learnt in my study years
Everything sounds achievable but knowing someone like me, it will take a little extra effort to achieve it.
something reminds me
Hell nooooo....
Anyway peeps. I remembered watching Drag Me To Hell last Saturday. It was a mvie make your bump jumping on the cinema seats as the movie fill with surprises and suspense through out. 3 stars I give. For those who has heart attack, better not as you'll spending your last moment dying in the cinema even if it just started.
I think many of us could still remember this cologne which Tommy produced many years back. Well, I'm currently using it only when I go to work. It doesn't last long actually. I have another one that I seldom spray. I can't find the picture. It's pink in color. My favourite color. Bought it years back but the bottle is not even 1/4.

Its Monday..

Skip the story, I went back at &pm last Friday.Pathetic...All because a greedy pig boss. Last minute job given to me. What can I say. He's the boss. Selfish and fussy.I hate him. With Jessie's absent, I felt everything is so hard as the responsiblitilies are great. Imagine if I were a CFO in a big MNC company, guess I'll crack in stress. But because this is a last minute job, I blamed them. Not that I can't do but I've never done it before. Emailed me without proper instruction. But when I replied, it's always delayed but he put it as priority. Damn it... Don't wanna loose my mood because of this.
It's Friday...weekend's tommorow!!!

Daddy's day out

I feel lucky to have both parents and a sister. Minus the fight that I had with the little ones. Apart from that, nothing to complain. Anyway, these are some things I got from
http://thechiccas.blogspot.com/
How To Survive A Break-Up
1)MIND SET - Girls, set up your mind. You're in control of your life now.No need be sad of feeling lonely. That won't change a thing if you're still in your room crying.Just say to yourself, I am young and free and pretty.I don't need that stupid jerk in my life.I love myself. And all my friends loves me.Hey,there're lotsa fishes out there in the sea!
*you may change that sentence a bit:P
2)THROW IT ALL OFF - If you have his stuff with you right now, quick, take them and throw it all away. But if you really like those stuff and it seems that your hands just couldn't pick 'em up and put it in the dust bin, make sure you keep it safe off sight. Make sure ok! That may help you ease the pain a bit. Don't let those stuff reminds you of him.
3)FAVOURITE THINGS - Do something that you love. Don't be so hard on yourself.Just do it. If you love reading story books, go and buy more books (for Malaysian, there's a book fair @ PWTC right now...it'll end on this Sun,26th April 09 ~ save save save!),if you still love barbie dolls, go and buy it!(so what,it's your life!),if you love doing sporty activities go and getcha head in the world of extreme.Join Rakan Muda or clubs in your school/uni, if you love writing,go and write! Why wait, write it all out and set your heart free...plus,how about write a song...who knows one day u can be a song writer?? The most common thing here is, go shopping!Hang out with your girlfriends and have some fun partying!
4)START FROM SCRATCH - Plan a new life babes. There's more to life than loving the guy who had been hurting you.See,it's all in the game.We live,we love,we hurt,we fall,we fight,we stand,we win,we love. What goes around comes around...life's a circle...karma baby!
5)LOVE YOURSELF FIRST - If you think you really need a man in your life, remember; they are the one who actually needs us (the women!!) in their life. Without us,who are they eh?:P Well if you think you want to start a new relationship,it's not wrong, but becareful; make sure you're ready and don't make the same mistakes twice.
6)SING OUT LOUD!! - I mean, real loud!!!Just let it go!Jump if you have to! *But for those who's living in an apartment..hehe..don't be too noisy ok.Be considerate. Sing whatever that makes you feel more alive like "Since you've been gone by Kelly Clarkson or Better in time by Leona Lewis"..Let your hair loose girls, not your head(keep that in mind will ya?)
SEE,IT WILL ALL BE OK AND ALRIGHT!

The family is on heat, bad heat. It never happen before...I'm seldom at home and I do feel guilty for not being there to help them. I'm in the middle of the crossroad....Nobody understand the family more than I do. It is easy to say 'Don't get too emotional, nothing can settle even if you cry'.
I'm far from the family, the last things I want to hear, people who don't know how to comfort. Family is a big thing for me. I wouldn't want my family to go their own separate ways because of me....after 27 years of marriage I'm trying to be as strong as I can because daddy taught her daughters how to be strong in any situation...

Good Morning Tuesday
Comfortable but because it's new and because I can't remember when was the last I wore heels..I did spring cleaning at my house store and I think there are few shoes that I don't remember buying them.. Actually the Boyfriend bought for me....hahaha...sadly he can't remember buying it for me as well....Bad shit...
This is what we looked like as we indulge into our ice-cream...I took Cotton Candy flavour and he took chocolate something( can't remember the name). The night before, we went and chill at Sega's in UPR...You know what, it was empty!!!. We drank and then went for maggi goreng. As usual, the boyfriend shit the next morning. While we were at Sega's, the boyfrind was reading newspaper and I got boring and this is what I did...
We watched Hanna Montana: The Movie which make me drag The Boyfriend along even he was hesitate to watch at the first attempt. But for the sake of love...he agreed at last. It's a movie you should watch. I cried half way, the part when Miley sang along with his dad...So sweet..The cinema was not full house, surprising ly. It was Saturday, I guess so...

I'm browsing through Kerry's blog page and it looked colorful. It made me thought of those good old days that I used to have with my besties back in high school...xoxo...I remembered back in Secondary 5...we had extra classes...which is a compulsory thing for SPM candidates...3pm to 5pm...after class, we would have so-called tea in one of the makcik's stall next to my school. Ice-kacang, gado-gado and etc...We'll whack like no one ever notice and go back with full stomach and my mum would nagged coz she cooked but I ate out...hahah
Life was endlesless for me and the rest................
Then, after Secondary 5, everyone chose our own way. Some got married(with 2 kids now!), some still studying, some dunno what, some planned to get married by this year and some got engaged...Anyway, we still meet each other like, once a year. during Hari Raya Puasa. We'll plan 2 months ahead on how to organise the reunion and when the day comes, we'll talk for hours, updating each other and best of all gossiping...hahahha...Tha's what most girls do...
This is a sneak pic of part of the family pic when my family was on the way to Kuala Trengganu for Chinese New Year.
Not many pics to upload..Sorry
Anyway, will be updating tommorow as I'll be back in office....Talking about work...Damn...why can't I be a student for the rest of my life???...
Quote for today
Henry D. Thoreau

Well, I called my bestfriend, Alla yesterday(she's in KL and I miss her) and we were talking on the phone like no one's business. We were talking about my boyfriend, old school mates, how we used to crank the school and not to forget teachers, Teacher Norlida..haha...After putting down the phone, I thought of Nasreen, haha, the only student all the way from KL. We used to hang out at her house, thrashing her room, lepak in town with the rest of the girls( what do you expect to have in Perlis or I won't be in Penang...dowh). It was way back in Secondary 3...I guess. She'll write letters to me with different colors of ink and I'll reply back to her and so on. It never end..FYI, her class is just down stairs...And not to mention that she's the one who first created an email account under hotmail ( hotmail was an-in that time)for me..I still remember the account, adleenaluvvy84@hotmail.com...
Then, the both of us will be hanging out in cyber cafe(can't remember what its called). And there where she met her 'cinta monyet' boyfriend. I can't remember his name actually or how he looked like.Nevermind. We'll be gossiping in school. My Add Maths teacher will be teaching in class and I'll be sleeping. And when she noticed, she'll asked me to figure out answers for her question and as usual I'll looked damn blur...So shamed..
Skip the story, puasa is like 3 months more. I can't wait to get my hands on 'duit raya'. Normally, if my uncle or aunt ask me whether I'm still studying or working,I'll say...'Takdelah, baru je abis belajar'. Maut punyer answer. Tipu sunat je...hahah. But they believe that. For years I've been giving that answer.Nevermind.

Today is the last day of the week and I'm very looking forward to it. I've been counting days to the weekend since Monday. Hei, its normal ok to do that. Evryone does that...Who would want to work 7 days a week. That's crazy unless you're superhuman or something. I ate KFC for lunch.Lame.I know but why not if you have a RM20 free coupons...Take advantage of it. Thats what I like working in Intel..Hahahah. Anyway, I'll be watching Terminator later tonite at 9.40pm. Hope its good and worth queueing up for hours last few days which ended me and The Boyfriend having dinner in A&W....which supposedly having sandwich at home. The Boyfriend is on strict diet....No shame to tell.
Yesterday's dinner is today's hunger...
This picture was taken when I was in the loo. My boyfriend is queueing up to buy food. I had a sudden stomachache. So invested in waste management. Its in Gurney Plaza new wing toilet. Malaysia toilets are known to be dirty, filthy, stinks but this one, for me, I can only sit like 15 minutes, max...they're still not up to the hygiene standard.Lightings are nice for this pic.I think.I wrote some 'late' resolution for 2009.I know, I know.Should write it earlier. Well, you know, when money problem comes into the scene, that is when my resolution starts...
- Cut down on my shopping.
- Cut down on unecessary spending
- Cut down on junk food
- Save aside some $ for my old age(i'm not getting younger)
- What else ar,hhmm...ooo...pay off my study loan asap...like 30 grant?...hugeeee amount..(or else I'll be paying that for the rest of my life)
But, like I said, hard to curb the 1st resolution if have such a generous boyfriend, but, I'll have to do it or else my boyfriend would have to be friend with those 'ah kua' at Lorong Garu.
